BOAT STORAGE APPLICATION
Renter Conditions:
1. All boats must be stored on properly licensed trailers
3. Use of the storage space can only be by the trailer and boat shown on the rental contract form.
4. Only one boat may be in any storage space at any time, and only on that renter’s assigned contract space
number.
5. Any behavior otherwise not considered in the best interest of others, or endangers the safety of others or
yourself, may result in the loss of boat storage privileges and possibly park privileges.
6. The gate must remain locked at all times. Each renter will be responsible for securing the gate upon entering
or leaving the lot. The renter will be issued a combination to the gate of the storage lot after payment is made.
7. Boats may not be left in the yard off of the trailer. Major repairs will require that the boat and trailer be removed
from the park until such repairs are completed. Any major spilling of fuel or other petroleum products, as well as
other potentially hazardous chemicals/materials will be reported to park management immediately. Any cleanup
necessary will be at renter’s expense. Park maintains right to move a boat if circumstances should warrant it.
8. In the event of a reportable accident/property damage, advise marina staff who will investigate for insurance and
legal purposes.

trailer tongue blocks are exceptions to this rule.
10. Renter agrees to maintain adequate insurance coverage on his/her property while it is in storage at Buzzard Roost
Boat Storage. Renter waives all claims against Buzzard Roost Boat Storage and it’s agents and employees for damage
to or loss of property, including but not limited to damage to or loss by theft, pilferage, fire, flood, vandalism,
or act of God.
11. Written notice is required by renter to terminate all boat storage rental agreements. Failure to provide written
notice may result in the renter owing additional fees.
12. The rented space is non-transferable, and there are no refunds . Exceptions will be made on
a case-by-case basis by management.
13. Renter agrees to indemnify, and hold harmless The Buzzard Roost Boat Storage, their officers, agents,
servants, and employees from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, damage,
liabilities and expense arising out of the operation of this contract.
14. In the event of a breach of contract by renter, Buzzard Roost Boat Storage shall be entitled
to recover its costs, including reasonable attorney’s fees, incurred in enforcing its rights herein.
15. In the summer season, in the event of critical parking shortages, stored boat owners must use their storage
space to park their boat trailer if requested by management.
